Terms & Conditions

Last updated August 29, 2026 · Santorini Rides · TAXI SERVICE ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Α.Ε.

These terms govern every transfer and excursion booked through santorinirides.com. Please read them together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

santorinirides.com is operated by TAXI SERVICE ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Α.Ε., trading as Santorini Rides, a company registered in Greece (ΓΕΜΗ 176807238000), VAT number EL802462173, with registered office at Ormos Athiniou 0, 84700 Santorini (Thira), Cyclades, Greece. Tourist transport licence ΜΗΤΕ: 1167E60000950201.

You can contact us at info@santorinirides.com or +30 698 612 2705, Daily 08:00–22:00 (Europe/Athens).

2. What we sell

We sell pre-booked private and shared ground transfers (airport, Athinios port and point-to-point on Santorini) and organised excursions on the island. Each service is described on the page where you book it, including vehicle type, capacity and what is included.

3. How a booking is formed

When you submit the booking form you make us an offer to purchase the service shown. We confirm the booking by email with a booking reference; the contract is formed when that confirmation is sent. Until then no booking exists, and any payment collected for a booking we cannot confirm is refunded in full.

4. Prices and what is included

All prices are in euro (EUR), include all applicable taxes and are the prices shown at the time of booking. The price includes meet & greet with a name sign at the airport and port, free waiting time (we track your flight or ferry) and the vehicle described.

Not included unless stated on the service page: gratuities, entrance fees, meals and drinks, and any extra stop or waiting requested on the day beyond what was booked.

5. Payment

You can pay online by card at the time of booking, or pay the driver on the day, as offered at checkout. Online card payments are processed by Viva.com (Viva Payments); we never see or store your full card number. Payments made to the driver may be in cash or by card where the vehicle carries a terminal.

6. Your obligations

Please give us correct flight or ferry details, the correct number of passengers and pieces of luggage, and a reachable phone number. Be at the agreed meeting point at the agreed time. If your details change, tell us as soon as you can — most changes are free.

  • Luggage: each vehicle type shows its passenger and suitcase capacity at booking; oversized items (bikes, surfboards, wheelchairs) must be declared in the notes.
  • Child seats are provided free of charge on request at booking.
  • Accessibility: tell us about any mobility needs in the notes so we can allocate a suitable vehicle; not every vehicle is wheelchair accessible.

7. Changes, cancellations and refunds

You may cancel or change a booking under our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: more than 48 hours before pickup you receive a 100% refund, between 24 and 48 hours a 50% refund, and less than 24 hours no refund.

8. No-show

A no-show is when the passenger is not at the meeting point within 60 minutes of the agreed pickup time (or, for airport and port pickups, within 60 minutes of the actual arrival of the flight or ferry we are tracking) and cannot be reached on the phone number given. A no-show is treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice and is not refunded.

9. Force majeure

If weather, strikes, port or airport closures, road closures or other events beyond our control prevent us from performing the service, we will offer you a free rebooking to another time or a full refund of any amount paid — your choice. We are not liable for further costs arising from such events.

10. Liability

Carriage is performed under our tourist transport licence and the compulsory passenger insurance that comes with it. Our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the price paid for that service, except where the law does not permit such a limit (for example death or personal injury caused by our negligence). We are not responsible for missed flights or ferries where you gave us an incorrect time or were late at the meeting point.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Greek courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

As a consumer in the EU you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform, and you have the right to complain to the General Secretariat for Consumers (Γενική Γραμματεία Καταναλωτή) of the Greek Ministry of Development.
